Sabbath in Greek is in the plural Sabbaths.

In Matthew 28:1, which speaks of the women coming to the tomb, there is a mistranslation in English. The Greek text clearly says, “After the Sabbaths were passed,” Sabbaths being plural. Why is that significant?
