麦基洗德王 King Melchizedek

麦基洗德是撒冷王，撒冷的意思是[平安]。
Melchizedek was the King of Salem. Salem in Hebrew means: peace.

麦基洗德的意思是[我公义的王]。
Melchizedek means: my king is righteous.

麦基洗德的城市叫做撒冷，意思是[平安]。
Melchizedek's city Salem means: peace.

耶布斯人把那城叫做耶布斯，后来那两个名字合起来变成耶路撒冷，意思是[平安的居所]。
Jesbusites named the city Jebus later the two names were joint to make Jerusalem in Hebrew means Habitation of peace.

亚伯拉罕把他所得的掳物的十分之一献给麦基洗德。
Abraham presented Melchizedek with a tithe (a tenth) of all the booty he had gathered.

从这事件中亚伯拉罕认同麦基洗德与他事奉同一位真神,并是神的祭司,在属灵上比他更尊贵.
By this act Abraham indicated that he recognized Melchizedek as a fellow-worshiper of the one true God as well as a priest who ranked higher spiritually than himself.

麦基洗德的出现证明还有其他人像亚伯拉罕和他的家人一样事奉神。
Melchizedek's existence shows that there were people other than Abraham and his family who served the true God.
